Originally formed in the winter of 2003 by musicians and interactive performers looking to improve upon previous performance experiences, Blackjacks 'n Blarney was a high energy song and comedy troupe on the renaissance faire circuit and at regional pubs and folk festivals. However, once the economy crashed in 2008, we found ourselves performers without a stage, as many of the smaller festivals we had attended closed due to a lack of funding. We put our instruments away and waited...

 

Now, the wait is over... 

 

While the membership has changed, the chaos remains the same! With quick wit and light-hearted songs, we will once again involve our audiences in the comical story of our group's "grand" adventures since becoming traveling minstrels and privateers. Namely.... surviving each other!  From swords and beers, to love and its pitfalls, to mystical merriment and musical mayhem, this pirate crew with a celtic flair will have your toes tappin' and leave your sides hurting from laughter as they present their tales and music.
